This short review will be a first of its kind here on the blog — one about deodorant. It doesn’t get much more every day carry than that!

Somewhat recently I noticed a company on Instagram called Doc Spartan, and after browsing their site, discovered that they offered some really interesting skin care and hygiene products. Based in Ohio and veteran-owned, their offerings are made right here in the good ol’ U.S.A.

“ArmPit Armor” is their take on a natural deodorant. I will admit, I was a little hesitant to try a new deodorant, let alone a natural version. What if it didn’t work? What if I had to keep re-applying throughout the day? What if I smelled like a open can of tuna in 110 degree summer heat? What if this, and what if that? Finally, I caved and placed an order.

During the first couple of days my skin was a little irritated by the change. But after the introduction period, that completely went away. And now, after a month of straight use, I’m happy to report that there have been no surprises. If anything, it seems as though the ArmPit Armor is doing a better job than the previous brand-name deodorant/anti-perspirant. Imagine that!

While I have no connection to the manufacturer, I did want to share a few positive words about their product as a customer. If you’re entertaining the idea of switching to a natural deodorant, definitely give them a look.
